Ellen DeGeneres has a brand new look for the new year.

Months after packing her bags and moving to rural England with her wife, Portia de Rossi, the former talk show host, 66, was spotted rocking a new hairstyle — a gray pixie cut — during an outing in Montecito, California, on Tuesday.

DeGeneres, who is known for her blonde, layered cut, paired her newly minted hairstyle with a casual gray sweater, blue jeans and white sneakers, as seen in photos published by People.

Sources told multiple outlets late last year that the longtime couple put their Montecito estate on the market after President-elect Donald Trump defeated Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election.

Late last year, DeGeneres confirmed her and de Rossi’s move in an Instagram post celebrating their 20th anniversary, following reports that the pair’s home in the Cotswolds region flooded during Storm Bert.

“P.S. Just to reassure everyone, our farmhouse in the UK did NOT experience any flooding,” she mentioned in a post dated December 1, 2024.

Since the conclusion of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," which aired for 19 seasons and ended in May 2022, DeGeneres has been infrequently seen in public.

In DeGeneres’ 2024 Netflix special “Ellen DeGeneres: For Your Approval,” the star jokingly claimed she was ”kicked out of show business” for being “mean,” telling the audience “this is the last time you’re going to see me. After my Netflix special, I’m done.”
